Christine Maii Sakuda is a community leader with over twenty years of experience spearheading enterprise IT transformation initiatives in healthcare and government, and over fifteen years of leading non-profit organizations. As the first female Native Hawaiian Chief Information Officer at the State of Hawaiʻi's Office of Enterprise Technology Services, Christine is dedicated to advancing enterprise IT systems and solutions that connect stakeholders across communities and state government to support a vibrant and resilient Hawaiʻi. Her strategic direction and management of the state's IT resources have driven digital transformation, enhanced data security, and promoted innovation in public service delivery. Christine holds a Japan Executive MBA from the University of Hawaiʻi and a BS in Marketing from Santa Clara University. Christine is a longtime hula practitioner with Hālau Hula Kamamolikolehua. Her commitment to Hawaiʻi is further exemplified through her roles in various community and civic organizations, where she continues to advocate for IT advancements that benefit the state's residents.
